About Our Clinic
At Casita Community Acupuncture, you can receive from 3 to 6 treatments for the same price as 1 private treatment elsewhere.
In Asia, acupuncture has traditionally been practiced in a group setting rather than in private treatment rooms. In the United States, private treatments typically cost between $60-120 per session, which is more than most people can afford, and insurance coverage for acupuncture is often limited. Acupuncture is most effective when received frequently until your health improves. Our sliding scale allows you to come in often enough to see positive results.
We do not ask for any sort of income verification. We understand financial circumstances can change, and what you choose to pay (within our sliding scale) is completely up to you.
What to expect
In our clinic we primarily use reclining chairs grouped in a large, quiet, soothing space. Treating patients in a community setting has many benefits:
- Patients find the recliners extremely comfortable.
- Friends and family members can come in for treatment together.
- Many patients find it a comforting and powerful experience to be treated in a shared space.
Our goal is to provide the best acupuncture experience you’ve ever had!
Our Treatment Style
We practice highly effective and gentle methods of acupuncture in which we select points on the limbs, head, and ears to treat patients who are fully clothed. So, we ask you to please wear loose clothing so that we can roll sleeves and pantlegs up as necessary. Patients can then relax comfortably in their recliner for the course of the treatment. It is not uncommon to fall asleep and wake feeling refreshed.
